Gloria was the make-out song of choice when I was in junior high. In the long-closed attic of adolescent memories, hearing the part of the song "..and then she comes in my room, and makes me feel ALL RIGHT!!!" even now evokes the same junior high feelings as doing the rope climb in 1966.
And '60s Airplane was great, even with pseudo-hip album names like Surrealistic Pillow. But that group's fall from grace (rim shot) by performing crap like "We Built This City" is beyond redemption.
