No, it's not flat. The hills out there aren't too bad, though. I remember the first hill was about .50 mile into it, then they just kind of roll for a while until you cut up through a neighborhood. I remember it went on to some kind of a little trail at one point, and there was a sheet of plywood we ran over to cross a canal, so be careful there. It used to be operated by Stride Racing, and they sold it to Strider's Running Store, IIRC. So the route may change.

Last year I finished 70th out of 184. It was a fun race. I enjoyed not being crowded in with a bunch of other runners. I was mostly by myself at least the last 5 miles.
