Personally I like GE. I used to build homes for a living. In 2005-2006 I built close to 60 homes. We used GE because we never had issues with them. The last thing you want are warranty issues as a homebuilder and I can honestly say we never had any homeowner issues with their appliances. We used the GE Profile line. I think it's their best line, better than their more expensive Monogram line which don't warrant their price.

I think we discussed appliances before and personally I'd stay away from Kenmore as you plan on.
