Don't blame me- you are the one who thought the poll started at zero and moved from there.
If you look at the Gallup polls (Rasmussen doesn't go back in time far enough to be useful), Obama's numbers right now rank 9th since such polls first began (including first and second terms) for a president 50 days after inauguration. Not too shabby, especially in this climate.
