Funny story about this:

My MP's daughter graduated from high school while he was serving. The school board knew he was a religious leader of some sort so they asked him to give the prayer at the graduation. There was only one caveat, he couldn't mention Jesus Christ in the prayer as there was a large contingen of Jews in the area. So he asked if it would be okay if he closed the prayer in the name of the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob.

True story ... I was at the graduation and heard it with my own ears.
