Oh I don;t know if thats a bad thing. DId you ride this morning? I did an hour on the bike and felt okay with that extra bowl of cereal for breakfast.

Consistent long rides definitely help in the weight loss category. On a century, most guys burn between 8000 and 12000 calories, with bigger guys being on the higher end of things. It takes a lot of twinkies to make up that kind of a deficit, especially considering most guys only consume about 1000-2000 calories on a century. Its possible though. I've proven that this year. I've put in a couple of thousand miles already and have dropped less than 5 pounds of my hibernating weight.

And 5'4" 140 pounds? There's your fat ass category creekster, At least as far as pros go. Scary, isn't it? I think most pros are more in the 5'6"-5'9", 140-155 range.
