I simply said I have substantial experience living outside the US, so my experiences and viewpoints aren't limited by a lack of understanding from only living in the US.
What I said was nonsense was the notion that the US being 10% less happy than the happiest nation on earth was worth worrying about; given the huge assumption that ranking is accurate to begin with.
