I don't like hybrids too much becaseu they are such a compromise that they tend not to do anything very well. THat having been said, either of those hybrids would be fine, if all you are going to do is toodle around a parking lot of some RV park or perhaps go for realtively short rides from and ot your house. But if you want to ride very far on the road or if you think you might want to ride off-road, you shoudl get a bike desigend for that purpose.

What about the mountain bikes? And define "want to ride very far." My goal here is not to become a cylcist at this point ... but otoh I don't want something that's going to fall apart after a few months of riding.
