The tests are VERY flawed. The new test that nabbed Tyler is a scientific nightmare. They have no data on false positives or negatives and from what I understand the test that busted him was administered by the people who invented the test and was not blind.

Tyler had some serious points of contention and if it were a court of law in the USA he would have probably been not guilty because he would have easily created a "reasonable doubt."

Unfortunately, aside from saying how crappy and unreliable the test is, Tyler's only defense was that he might have a vanishing twin (Chimerism?).

I think he might have gone a long way toward showing that some of the testing methods are screwy but he didn't do enough to explain why he tested positive for having somebody else's red blood cells in his body twice.

I'd like to think he is innocent, but it doesn't really matter now.
