Yes, it was embarrassing to have my card denied at Walmart. I had some cash on me so I put the less important groceries back and was still able to buy the things I need the next few days. Luckily no one was in line behind me and the sales clerk was really nice about it.

Sorry. That sucks. Even if you're not out any money, it's still a hassle - probably not something you were planning to do today.
On the bright side, the best part about having the flag on your account with the credit reporting agencies is that you won't get unsolicited credit card offers in the mail for about 3 years.
