My bro-in-law loves that place. He never mentioned whether or not it was authentic, just that he loves it. I guess I could put two and two together...
Italian RM (i.e. food snob) + loves Buca = Must be good italian.
Anyway... I will echo Ute's report of extended family members with actual "in country" experience who love Buca...
