So, I finally purchased new shoes (the old ones had 500 miles on them since Christmas.... that might have been a reason for my IT Band problems). They are nike+ zooms (sorry guys, but I was up at the outlets and couldn't beat the price).

Noticed my leg felt better than it has in a month so I went out again today... 10k through my neighborhood.... ran my fastest 5k (27'07") and 10k (56'36"). I was amazed by that. I knew I was pushing myself but those numbers (for me) are outstanding. My leg feels great as well.
I might be back!
