I played some Black Ops at my brother-in-law's place over the break. I was doing a ton better. I was using a lot of FAMAS with ghost (and then ghost pro). I was having games like 28 kills and 17 deaths. A lot of games with k/d over 1.0. I thought, "should have been using the FAMAS a long time ago!".

I get back home to Texas, set up the exact same class, and it is back to being terrible. What is going on? Is it my controller? No, I actually took my controller with me on the trip. Is it my internet latency? Doubt it. Just seemed like it was harder to hit the guys.

I go into my settings, and see that the aim assist or whatever it is called, is set to off. I turn it on. Boom, I am back to my better ways!

So everyone is using aim assist except for me? No wonder I suck!
