It has been my experience that at times the "crazies" end up getting much more air-time in church than they deserve.
Reasonable people tend to be tactful and not say anything, as well as wanting to avoid contention, in general.
I am more and more getting to the point where I believe it is wise to step in and say things like "I don't believe this sort of political discussion is appropriate."
If I am lucky, then the coversation will stop and I will not be recommended for a calling in the next couple years.
