When I was at BYU, Robert Foster, the first black BYUSA president was elected.This was such a big deal he was invited to go on Leno. Even Church higher-ups encouraged him. Would've been a PR bonanza.
Then BYU shut it down, saying his first duty is to serve the BYUSA. The BYUSA!
