After thinking about this a bit more, I also wonder whether telling such stories--revealing our own spiritual touchstones--can be difficult because it feels too vulnerable. We don't want to be judged for them or to find that they don't touch others. I don't know. Just still thinking it through.

But I've had others, which most would mock. For example, during conjugation, I've felt certain elements of spiritual affirmation, no matter how naughty it got.
Or during a chess game, or intellectual discussion.
