The best way to win a war is for your enemy to look at you and shit his pants.
We've won many wars by not having to fight them in the first place.
It's pretty clear that the will to win is a primary determinant in the outcome. If we lose in Afghanistan it is because we lost the will to win and they didn't.
Obama criticized Bush for taking his "eye off the ball" in Afghanistan, but it's looking more and more like Obama doesn't even want to be in the batters box. Not sure how he is going to sell that one.
