When was the last time we had a lot of excitement in January or late December?
1996? We didn't beat anyone worth a hill of beans that year leading up to the bowl game. Texas A&M was 6-6.
1984? That was our 2nd worst SOS in 30 years.
So like I said before, you need to decide what's a higher priority for you: good games in September or excitement in January.
