Pink Floyd rules. I must've gone to Laser Floyd at the old Hansen Planetarium 20 times in high school. Dark Side of the Moon, Wish you were here, and The Wall, are all some of my favorite albums. David Gilmour is one of the most underrated guitarists of all time (his second guitar solo in Comfortably Numb is probably my favorite ever).
I never liked Syd Barrett's version of Pink Floyd - too weird, too psychadelic, too sixties. But of course, even though he left the band, his influence never did. I hope he's at peace now.
