Maybe Max was lazy, slept in every morning, didn't cut his hair, watched TV, and went camera shopping everyday.
Or maybe some YW started stocking Max and threatened to kidnap him and tie him to a bed with mink-lined handcuffs for some extracurricular activities.
Or maybe a heavenly messenger appeared and told Max to leave for BYU because BO was such a rat.
Or maybe Max is one of the Three Nephites.

Religion rises inevitably from our apprehension of our own death. To give meaning to meaninglessness is the endless quest of all religion. When death becomes the center of our consciousness, then religion authentically begins.
