I didn't look it up, but I don't think Jesus urged the crowd, or the romans on their behalf, to grab a child rapist, tie a millstone around his neck (which isn't really practical btw, showing the rhetorical nature of the statement) and toss him into the sea. Jesus was saying that upon judgment, they would be better off to be drowned than they would be if they had hurt a child-like believer (the reference is to Christ's followers who have become as little children, not just little children).
I understand your POV on this issue, although I don't agree with it, but your pithy use of the millstone reference to support your argument is not very useful and, given your oft-stated lack of belief, comes across as a bit hypocritical, to be honest.
