That damn gondola idea. We, the people of Ogden, shoot the idea of a gondola down about once every 4-5 years, it was squashed about two years ago, but now, with an investory, 'promising' a 500 million dollar investment the idea has resurfaced again. Unfortunately the organization pimping the idea is disingenious at best, and the intentions of the developer are unknown. (Many people think he will do a land grab, hold the city hostage and balk at the idea of building a resort up in the basin)

I actually hiked/climbed where the gondola will go in, and where it will end this weekend. Beautiful hike, and beautiful terrain.
