I am a huge VAG fan and love Audi and VW, but I'd never buy one with 50-60k miles on one. I think the 1.8T motor is one of the greatest ever. I mean I pushed the limits of mine going from 7 pounds of boost to almost 20 on a daily driver with no effects. But the electrical issues become cumbersome. The recalls on the ignition coils, window regulators and MAF became too much for me.
