Imagine 90% of the NBA against those superstars. Those guys dominate not only the end of the bench players, they dominate EVERYONE. That's why they're called superstars. I don't think anyone ever thought Trent would be an NBA superstar. I agree his prospects of even making a team are pretty iffy, but whether he has an NBA future or not and whether a team will take a chance on him in the draft are two very different questions. Go look up past drafts and tell me there haven't been a heck of a lot of players (especially tall ones) drafted pretty early who couldn't hack it in the NBA. Most NBA teams are addicted to drafting height. If he does get drafted he makes a lot of money even if he can't play in the NBA. And if he doesn't get drafted he makes money in Europe where he probably can have a good career. From a purely economic perspective I don't think he's making such a terrible decision, although I really hope he comes back.
