Wow, I just lost a detailed post responding to several above.
I tried to attach a picture of my twins and lost the whole content, and now I have no time to do it again. Suffice to say..
to Fusnik: all good questions. We try to teach that our real culture is that of children of God. Everyhting else, though not unimportant, are just subcategories of that. And we build from there.
to Farrah: good point. It takes a lot of time and money to keep an AA girl's hair looking good. They are very dry.. need a lot of lotion and braids, extensions, whatever.. we spend hundreds and hundreds of dollars (probably over a thousand actually) a year on my girl. I wish I had been successful in attaching the picture. You would see that it is well worth it.
She's pretty cute - must be in the genes. :wink:
