That said, here are the reasons for the title of my post. I have encountered two unfortunate acronyms in various media over the last couple of weeks. One is SLUT (South Lake Union Trolley) and the other is ASCOC. Are these marketing teams asleep at the wheel?

Salt Lake Urban Transit would have been a much better name than TRAX.
