I think we do. How many Iraqis are killing Iraqis even with a U.S. military presence there to dissuade them? If we leave, there is no reason to avoid a full on civil war and/or ethnic cleansing. I highly doubt if American troops were withdrawn the Iraqis would suddenly put aside century-old differences and sing kumbaya.
