Challenge of BYU to win with LDS

How many LDS players are in the NBA? Yeah, that's obvious. Not a lot.

But now think of how many white players from the USA in the NBA. I doubt if there's more than 50 in the entire NBA and very few are starters or stars.

How many great BYU football players have there been that have done exactly jack squat in the NFL? We don't need NBA caliber players to succeed, we just need better NCAA caliber players, particularly at PG.

At just about every position in BYU football, you have a guy who thinks he's going to play in the NFL someday. That's just not true for BYU BB. It's true, the NBA is much more exclusive than the NFL, but bottom line is that Mormons make better football players than basketball players--relatively.

And I'd bet that by far, the majority of success in the NFL have been on the O and D line.
Thus the purpose of the mormon pot lucks.

Is church basketball like BYU's farm team?
