Good post, minn_stat, I like doing this kind of analysis as well. But I don't know why you'd ignore non-conference games especially so early in the season with such little data.

Good to hear (yes hear not see--F U the mtn) the Cougs doing well tonight. I admit I didn't think JT was going to make much of an impact this year.

What the hell is a "power point"?

I think he just means a rating like power rating. Power ranking would list 1-9, power rating or points maybe would give relative values. That's my guess.

If he's going to spend that much time with his power rankings, he should at least attempt to explain the methodology.
