Speaking of climbing/hiking...
any of you folks ever make the hike to this place?:
http://utahpictures.com/images/LakeB...BlancheREF.jpg Lake Blanche and Sundial Peak. It's about a 3 mile or so hike that takes a good 2- 2 1/2 hours. It's in Big Cottonwood Canyon - Mill B South Fork. Head up the trail and when you cross the bridge, bear left. I did it way back in '89. I'll do it again this next summer with any of my kids that want to make the hike and will take lots of pics. |
Holy schmoly that's gorgeous.
No wonder the husband wants to move west. |

Lots of great stuff in the canyons around here. If you're an outdoors person, Utah is tough to beat. |

It may be, as the Utah F&W is pretty good at stocking the little lakes in the mountains. I'll let you know. |
I've been there many times. I trail run that occasionally on my lunch break. It is grueling. Steep and rocky. But worh every bit of it. I have seen people fish there. I have never seen anybody catch anything.
