Saw Fearless, and it is very

moving, and motivating if you appreciate aspects of Chinese history and culture. It's a little nouveau culture, but cuts across some basic Chinese tenets. Cinematography is gorgeous.

The fight scenes include alot of wires, of which I'm not a big fan, but otherwise it is well worth the trip.

Do you have a China connection? I kind of gathered from some of your previous posts that you do.

Business, friends and an introduction to language and culture. I started Chinese martial arts to understand its philosophies, and appreciate the self-improvement component thereof.

I love the Chinese peoples attachment to commerce.

I could go on and on. It is a wonderful country.

Hmm, maybe our paths have crossed before.

I grew up in Southeast Asia. Lived in Shanghai for 2 years, Thailand for 4, and Taiwan for 6.

Were you ever over there long-term?

What did you of the coup in thailand? was the king tacitly behind it?

Long periods no, just Kunming and Hong Kong, or Shenzhen.

YOu'd be much more proficient with the language than I. I still love the area, its traditions and opportunities.

Didnt really hear much of it other than the firm that I work for sent out an email saying no travelling to Thailand for the time being. Then a week later, they lift the ban. I dont have nearly as strong a connection with Thailand as I do with Taiwan/China...mostly Taiwan tho.
