Brazil wins, dang it.

US blew a fine chance to make a statement, instead is relegated to moral victory. That's highly unfortunate for soccer.

no shocker there, that Brazil won.

USA plays at a high level in a FIFA final, that's a good result.

I agree with Mike. The US played with the best at a high level and that's a good thing.

Depth hurts the US team more than anything else. The starters can compete with any country, but when fresh legs are needed, the talent drops off too much.

I was not surpised, just disappointed. I even predicted the score before the game, and at half time.

But I was disappointed we gave up the 46th minute goal. That's where we lost it.

Well we lost it, because Brazil has better players, better offense and is a overall a much better team, and the US simply played what it could but in the end it was not enough. But I take little solace in such moral "victories". We might not ever get into a FIFA final again and blew it.
