Mike got me a cake and gift, and I cooked some dal, flatbread, and chocolate sorbet to take to book club where I had a delicious Pakistani/Afghani dinner. I talked to most of my family on the phone. It was a nice day. Plus I got roses from you.

That actually sounds like a pretty decent birthday. Belated birthday wishes from me as well!
