***official priesthood mtg thread***

So far, women placed on pedestal in opening prayer.

Porn mentioned. Prescription drug abuse?

Unfaithfulness mentally. Lack of household chores done by men.

You need bishop or stk pres, because you can't get better on your own.

.....
Men are evil. Women are perfect. So far so good.

Men dominating is not the way of the Lord.

Ironic given the fiercely patriarchal mormon system?

Women are compassionate.

Again playing up stereotypes.

I feel so loved.

6 billion people in the world
13 million have found the kingdom on earth
5 million are men
1.5 million are active
600,000 attend Priesthood conference
And we're the ones being told how awful we are.

The parable of the prodigal son? We are the faithful son?

Santos must be going nuts right now.

There is a group of feminists in San Diego who attend every stake and general priesthood meeting, because they "deserve to know what is not printed."

More power to them.

I'm flipping back and forth between that and Mizzou-Nebraska. For some reason I never get tired of seeing Nebraska get blown out. What were they thinking inviting Mizzou for Homecoming? That made sense in the mid-90s, but not anymore.

Eyering is crying. He's pointing at the camera a lot.

I feel blessed that I am not one of those that value football over the Lords sacrifice.

Please tell me you like this routine. Certainly talks will be given which will provide food for thought, but many of them sound like filler talks.
