Fan at 49er game dies after fall from upper concourse

"(12-09) 18:50 PST San Francisco -- A spectator at the 49ers game at Monster Park died today after falling 20 feet from the upper concourse to the mezzanine level below, according to team officials.

It was unclear how the man, who was not identified, fell over the wall sometime between 2:30 p.m. and 3 p.m., said Lisa Lang, the team's vice president. But she said that the police are treating the death as an accident.

He fell near Ramp 2 on the mezzanine level."

I don't know if this guy was drunk or not, but I cannot believe how plastered people get at NFL games. Seriously.

My dad, brother and I went to a Monday night game at The 'Stick (Monster Park) and everyone in our section were out of their minds - and we had pretty nice seats.

My brothers and I couldn't stop laughing at the wasted 9er fans who were giving Pops hugs and high-fives during the entire game.

And in an only-in-SF-moment some Marin County types in their 50s were passing out pot-brownies and giving anyone who would listen a review of their latest trip to Tuscany.
