One more reason to love Seattle.

At the cutting edge of technology and civilizatoin.

Still, red light running remains epidemic here, and seems to be getting worse. They need to redouble the effort.

Remind me again, what was the first reason?

Oh, there are many. How about this one? More atheists and agnositics (if there's a difference) per capita than any other U.S. city.

How is this cutting edge? I love Seattle too, but when I was in Baltimore in 2002 they had these things all over the city.

yes, we've had them for years, too, but of course Oklahoma has long been at the forefront of innovation. Not unlike Seattle.

This is like when Bush Sr. was campaigning for re-election, went to a grocery store, and said "when did you guys get these scanner thingies."

SU has provincial roots, no matter how ashamed he is of them.

Okay, so we're behind on this. Probably because everybody was so freaked out about "privacy." Like big brother shouldn't spy on you running red lights.

Germany had them in the 1970s and 80s. So Seattle has caught up with West Germany of 1979. Great, when do they start showering once a week like Germans?

I'm sure Seattle area Starbucks have cameras to identify the rock chuckers breaking their windows.

They're all over California too. The tickets you get in the mail are hilarious (I only say this because I've never received one) it has a series of 3 or 4 pictures, and in the ones I've seen the people are just cruising through like nothing's up, a totally expressionless face...or the one my boss got had a picture of her chatting away on her phone with a big smile on her face.
