Worth of GM and Ford

5.60 billion GM
10.45 billion Ford

139.23 billion Toyota
117.51 billion Honda
9.89 billion Starbucks

Bye-bye Detroit.

Crazy that GM is worth about 2.5 stealth bombers.

MikeWaters 07-15-2008 08:31 PM

Probably the only reason no one has bought GM is because they think it is actually worth even less than 5.6 billion. As in a collosal headache that is beyond repair.

It's probably best that GM and Ford go bankrupt, and perhaps another American company can rise from the ashes sans unions.

My friend, that ship has already sailed. It's only a matter of time before both companies are in bankruptcy.

The only thing that can save them, I think, is for oil prices to crash.

and they've gotten weaker and weaker since then.

GM and Ford actually believe that it doesn't matter if their cars and trucks are worse. They honestly don't care.
