One of the big makers of AR-15s, Spikes Tactical, has a 60,000 unit backlog on their AR-15 stripped lower receivers (the part that has to go through a licensed dealer).

It's almost as if the Brady Campaign is in cahoots with gun manufacturers to drive demand and increase prices. It's the same crazy reaction as 4 years ago when Obama was first elected and Eric Holder starting beating the gun control drum.
