Weekly weigh-in

I'm not really fat, per se, but I have about 20 lbs I could do without. I've been planning on "doing without" them for about 7 years without much success. I also like to run, but am really frustrated that I'm so much slower than I used to be; I'm thinking that if I can lose the 20 lb backpack, I might be able to run a little faster.

I'm thinking I need someone/something to check in to. So forgive me--I know these can be really annoying, but I'm going to check in with cougarguard. If you don't care, skip it, put me on ignore, whatever.

Right now, I weigh 209.8 (24.5 % BF according to my little impedance scale). By the Snow Canyon half-marathon on Nov 9, I'm going to weigh 190 (my weight on my wedding day), which amounts to about 1 lb/week.

Anyone else want to check in?

Good luck, ER. We don't mind reading about your progress, and it's helpful to be accountable to someone.

As far as losing weight, I predict that Marsupial will drop about 15 lbs in about 15 days.

Hey, I am not checking in with anybody on this board regarding my weight. As far as you all know, I am the woman in my avatar. I lose 15 pounds and I'm dead.

If I lost 15lb, the comparsions of me to Joel Osteen that I have heard twice now, would be a complete reality.

See, I think there has to be a penalty here if you pull an FMCoug and give up. (Yeah FM, I'm calling you out).

And I don't mind these threads at all. It's not like any of the others are so much more entertaining. Good luck with the weight loss.

Where can I get a cool T-top like the one you are wearing?

Have you tried OshKosh B'Gosh? The ones that would fit you would most likely be in the newborn girl's section.

you must have broken out the tank top just for the relay. Your tan betrays you.

Actually, I spend 23 hours a day shirtless. A little something for the ladies, and Mike Waters.
