How do you feel about advertising on this site?

Obviously I'm sure that no one ads to be as obtrusive as possible. But rather the opposite.

At some point the economic model of this site will demand advertising. We are not there yet, but it could come soon, depending on how the site grows.

I would have no problem with it at all. Expecially since I am a freeloader.

If it helps pay for the site, I say go right ahead.

Depends on the type of ads. I vote that they be weighted heavily toward lingerie ads.

I would grudgingly accept them as necessary.

NO problem as long as there is no way any of the advertisers can track me down.

Do it Mike. See if you can make a little coin off the site.

How much revenue would it generate? If it is small enough, just ask for donations. I would pay a little to avoid the ads.

Google Ad words

You could give Google a try. Ad words are nice because they are fairly innocuous ... just put a bar to one side or the other and the links are all text, no images.

Plust, since the ads they serve are based on content of the site, I bet we'd get some really funny ones.

The thing is, I have no idea how much revenue it would generate.

For now, I plan to have this site as a non-profit operation, and would plow the money back into the site in the form of contest awards and the like. Of course, greed could change that eventually. :)

Everybody has a price, eh?
