Tour de France 2010 official thread
Stage 2 today. Crazy.
A long non-mountainous stage with basically no attacks and no sprint finish does make for a boring sporting event. It seems like we are in for a crazy tour. |
Lots of crashes due to wet streets. Go figure, what you expect from the Low Countries.
|
So Lance's tour is effectively over before it began, due to a flat tire.
http://pezcyclingnews.com/?pg=fullst...=Latest%20News His last Tour going out like a pisssssssssst. |
The tour has been a big disappointment so far for fans of American riders.
|
Lance is 2:30 behind with twenty stages remaining. Mission Impossible?
|
Mission Unlikely.
He is the second oldest minus one day for being the oldest. He's behind Cancellara, Andy Schleck and Alberto Contador. Where is he going to pull out the energy to dust them? |

where was Lance's team to help him bridge? Back in the old days he would have had 3 or 4 guys with him. It's strange to see Lance bridging himself to a group.
Not that Contador's team did better. But that was the one advantage that Lance supposedly had--a much better team. |
Pop came back.
I was hoping for a good final Tour for Lance but I am saddened at the rate which he will be performing. He should have stayed with last year. Guys almost always tend to stay around too long. |
I wonder what new cocktail Petacchi is on.
