Romney: Help or Hurt the Church (please respond quick)

In the long run.

I have to vote tomorrow. Thanks.

1. It's impossible to know that.

2. Vote for the person whom you think would be the best president.

3. God can take care of his own church. If he wants to.

He's running for President, not for Prophet. But regardless, do you think he's prone to follow the footsteps of John "Let's bomb Syria" McCain and the rest of the trigger happy GOP, or the peaceable nature of oh, Spencer W. Kimball?

That is strange coming from you.

If this church implodes and is destroyed, I think we can safely then assume that its claims were never true.

If God is at the helm, then someone as flawed as Mitt Romney, with his finely lubricated moral weathervane, will not be able to destroy it.

Doesn't Chino live in Virginia?

So his choice is between Romney and Paul? Is that much of a choice?

Mike's analysis seems spot on. If God has control over the Church's progress, then Romney can't undermine it. If our claims are false then it doesn't matter.

Romney seems to be a decent choice, but for you Chino, I thought you were an Obama fan.

The Church is not going to implode, but it may be weakened.

If I stick with Obama I will vote against Romney (i.e. for Paul).

Romney pulled it off. Now imagine how much closer it would have been had Ron Paul's supporters emerged from their backwoods, anti-government federalist compounds and actually registered to vote.

MikeWaters 03-07-2012 05:14 AM

Saw the Virginia returns, I figure Chino voted for Paul.

The church tends to accentuate the positive, and asks whether you are honest in your dealings with fellow men. As for Romney?

It was nauseating to watch him in Ohio, lamenting the toll that outsourcing has taken on our workers and economy, considering that he amassed a fortune by investing in companies that outsourced American jobs.
