Each flashlight would be 180 lumens.

Is that just 2 pieces of velcro holding each light one? I like it, but I wonder how it would do on a bumpy ride. I've lost several lights on rocky descents, and they were actually mounted on the bike.

It's two pieces of velcro, with a plastic piece as a frame.

For those of you that think that's a lot of money to spend on lights, check out how much the real bike lights cost.

I like how this uses AA batteries. Run time not long enough? Just bring some extra. Also, easy to take the flashlights off and put them in pocket.

Looks pretty nice. After you have used it a full times I would appreciate a follow-up report.

I also got the PlanetBike Super Flash rear light for $17 from amazon. It's supposed to be the best of the budget rear lights, very bright.

Are you planning lots of night riding this year? Is it for your winter commute?

For one, I would like to be able to ride to my church for scouts. It's dark at 9pm, so need the lights. Plus when fall comes, will need lights to get out.

Also getting back from work later, allow me to ride longer.

Being a cheap s.o.b. I may just try this. I'm going to give winter commuting a shot this year and I'll need some decent lights.

You can get a 3rd flashlight for th helmet as well.

If I don't like the setup, I will sell it.
