When I see a photo op for any candidate it makes me want to gag. Why are we so tolerant of the crappy way we debate our issues?

The general public is too lazy to care who is running the country. We as a populace just want to live our lives and not have to worry about anything else. Politicians want to run the country, so we vote them into office so we can go on with our lives.
