My General Conference thought

One thought that I had during GC was "where does grace fit into this?" I feel confused about the role of grace. Because I have the aspect of grace teaching that I grew up with, then a more nuanced view later that is more grace-centric, but sometimes where I hear talks it's like the grace is absent.

For example, here's a question: what is the role of grace in the ability to perform priesthood ordinances? Where does grace fit with "worthiness"?

Is the doctrine of grace still in flux?

Is the advent of a more grace-centered doctrine in response to criticisms from Christians that Mormons have missed the boat on grace and are far too works-centered and "what you do determines your station in the next life"?

You hear the message "do the right thing" over and over, and you hear that you can and should repent so that you can be "worthy". But where is grace?
