Ahoy

For those of you who will be tuning into the Tonight Show on the 15th, my true identity will be revealed. At least my name and appearance.

First things first. All the numbers in my birthday are prime. This is my grandest quality. My mom was overdue and so she was induced. and she was able to choose the day. She selected 13 Feb. She claims it was because the 12th and 14th are both holidays. However, deep down inside, she knew 13 was prime. Good call mom.

So, the name is Dave. I live in Los Alamos, NM. I work at the only place you can work at in this small town, Los Alamos National Laboratory. Elevation is around 7500 feet. And yes, it took a while to get used that little oxygen. I do computer science research and development, scientific visualization to be specific. And that's about as specific as I can be (c:
Before that I lived in Atlanta for 7 years.

I have a BS and PhD in computer science from the UofU.
Yes, I am an avid and lifelong ute fan. Many gloomy years of my laddom were spent watching lavell kick the crap out of the utes. In person was I at Rice stadium when the utes won their lone 2 games of the pre-McBride years. Late in the game Gomez wins it and then the decapitation under Mitchell. This cougar sports meltdown of late has been especially fun to watch. Sorry Mike, I told you I wasn't a ute fan on the phone, but, well, I lied. and then I repented.

Right now I teach early morning seminary. Funnest calling I've ever had. I have a lovely wife and a lovely 13 year old daughter. 1 cat named Lexington B. Squeaky and two horses. We are getting another cat soon. Her name will probably be Becky the Esurient, although we are still considering.

Oh, and I am/was Teeth. And I enjoy pretending to be a cougar fan on CB just to annoy people.

a few people doubted whether it would really be me on Leno.
So, I will be wearing some dark green pants, white shirt, brown shoes, brown hair, glasses, and I will be touching my nose to my forehead. Wed, 15 March.

Regards,
Brian

Has Jay Leno been in any films? If so, here is your chance to be linked to six degrees of Kevin Bacon (OH BOY!)

MikeWaters 03-15-2006 07:11 PM

heck, this is MY chance to get into the six degrees of Kevin Bacon.

I've talked on the phone with Brian, who knows Jay Leno, who....

Sorry I'm a little late to the unveiling. Just read your intro Brian, and my wife was reading over my shoulder. When we got to the end, she yelled "Hey I saw him!!"

Looks like I missed out on a classic TV moment.

By the way, I had a feeling about you as Teeth. I loved the Teeth persona back in the Cougartalk days. Great times.

This must be shattering to Cougar fans. Kind of like how New Yorkers would feel if Woody Allen announced he was really born and bred and had his heart in Los Angeles.

Brian , how much time do you spend on Utefans, if any?

Not really, at least not to this cougar fan. It is hard for me to imagine too much here that could be shattering.
