Is it just my area, or are you seeing inauguration merchandise everywhere? E.g., at the Bed Bath and Beyond in the neighborhood here, there was a huge table with Obama kitsch just inside the entry, and then walking back from there (all I bought was plain white sheets), I passed a new storefront set up as "Inauguration Superstore." My personal favorite (just passing by)was the t-shirt with just "OMG" across the front, with the O in the Obama logo style. :rolleyes:

I'm sure much of this is because it's DC, but are you seeing it a bit elsewhere?

I am very happy to report that there is zero inauguration mania along the Wasatch Front.

The only inauguration mania I have seen in these parts is a 25% increase in prices of "evil" rifles at gun shows.

I haven't seen that yet, but there hasn't been a gun show here for a bit.

At the store where I purchase my ammo (and any other weapons I may soon buy) has an "Impeach Obama Now!" poster hanging on the wall behind the counter. According to the employees there, it was put up by the owner on Nov. 5th.
