I'm kind of pissed...
 

I'm flying from Sacramento to Salt Lake today, and I got to the airport 2-1/2 hours early in anticipation of the long lines I've been seeing on CNN since last night. So I get to the airport and there are no lines. My biggest inconvenience was having to surrender a potentially lethal tube of Colgate toothpaste. So now I'm stuck in the Sacramento airport with three hours to kill. And the worst part is that this stinking airport has no Delta Crown Room. Sacramento is the capitol of the biggest state in the union and they can't even pony up for a freaking Crown Room? Life sucks.

There's a school of thought that this big terrorist scare was overblown.

It sounds like they had known about the plot for quite a while and had been monitoring the group, but that it just went public yesterday. It's not like anything is really anymore unsafe now than it was a couple of days ago.
