Porking

Mike, didn't at one point you have to gain a bunch of weight? How'd you attempt it?

FarrahWaters 12-17-2008 03:23 AM

Mom's cheesecake didn't work?

MikeWaters 12-17-2008 04:52 AM

I gained twenty pounds in about a month.

That is truly a feat.

The thought of it actually makes me feel ill.

You would have to take in a lot of calories and do absolutely nothing.

Unless on the other hand you are gaining muscle mass. In college I took creatine for a while and gained 10 pounds in a little over a week. But I was also working out about 4 hours a day and a lot of that is water weight.

I don't think I was eating anymore (or much more) that I had been eating before. And I was just as active as I had been before (which was fairly active).

Most of that 20lb was muscle. I've never been on steroids, but I imagine that steroids must feel the same way I felt that month. I surged in strength.

People tell me to take ensure on top of my regular diet, but ensure is solid sugar. blech.

MikeWaters 12-17-2008 06:51 PM

Why do you need to gain weight?

I'll happily donate these last 8 pounds and more if you need them.

first, what's the matter with solid sugar? and second, a friend of mine was also on a weight-gaining regimen, and his approach was heavy weightlifting workouts, and he kept a strict eating schedule. He seemed to be constantly be working on protien bars.

This might be the most misleadingly titled thread ever.
