Have you ever had the air ducts in your house cleaned?

A company just quoted me $700 to clean our air ducts on both floors (main floor is 1500 sq ft, upstairs is 1100 sq ft). Does $700 seem high? Trying to decide if I should start the game of getting multiple bids or not.

I've never had it done but thought about it a few times. Let me know what you end up doing.

I ended up scheduling it, but for our upstairs only ($340 instead of $700) since that's where we're having the issue.

How did you know you were having trouble?

What, exactly, is issuing?

One of our upstairs bedrooms has next to zero air flow through its vent, and based on the room's location it should be getting more air than any of the other rooms. We're hoping one of the subcontractors left something in the duct.

Who said anything about "issuing"?

Are you mocking me or mocking Creekster? If me, it went over my head, so educate me.

Creekster is just having a bit of fun at your expense.

He wants to know what is being issued (as in what's coming out of the ducts.) Just a play on words.

No mocking on my part. Just having a bit of fun as well.
